University College London

Currently I'm studying at University College London, UCL for short. UCL locates in central London ,it is one of the G5 universities in the UK. And it ranks in the top ten universities in the Times World University rankings for many years. There have been countless outstanding alumni, including director Christopher Nolan, father of optical fiber Gao Kun, and AlphaGo The creator Damis Hassabis and literary master Tagore and so on.

It is my dream goal to be able to enter UCL. I have been doing relevant preparations for applying UCL since the second year of high school, finding which dept. is the best, and what is the programme that really atracts me. I have to say that the preparation is quite complicated and difficult, but after I have actually completed the student registration in UCL, I feel that everything is worth it. The magnificent school main building, The intelligent scientific library and the departmental building with delicated decoration make me yearn for. In general, the school’s soft and hard culture is excellent!

I'm studying Mathematical Computation in the Department of Computer Science at UCL. This is a strong major, and its teaching ability and research resources are among the best. The courses involved range from all kinds of mathematics to computer networks, algorithms, logic, programming languages and so on.
