I studied in the International Department of Huanggang HighSchool Guangzhou Branch, and I was very proud to be part of this warm family. International education is now blooming everywhere, growing of international resources is becoming more and more rapid, along with the rapid pace of national economic boosting, parents are eager to send their children abroad for international education.

I still remember that when I was in the first year of high school, the environment was unfamiliar. All this made me very uneasy, afraid that I could not adapt. After all , When I was younger, I was in my comfort zone for the entire 9 years. All this was different in high school. First of all, the all-English teaching environment is a big challenge. Although I have consciously strengthened English learning since I was a child, when it comes to a truly immersive atmosphere, textbooks templates and exercises have became stumbling blocks. It is not enough to memorize words and sentences to be really good in English. The most important thing is to be able to bravely communicate with native-speaking teachers and practice speaking and listening in actual combat.

In addition to the difficult learning of English, the British A-Levels curriculum is also a completely different teaching system. Like us, we’ve grown accustomed to traditional learning method,but focusing on the reference books and textbooks are not very useful for international educating system. The syllabus and test points need to be read and understood by ourselves through reading textbooks and checking materials. The teacher will only take you through the knowledge points.
